Estevan grew up on Da Lagoa Farm in Carmo da Cachoeira, South of Minas — a place of rolling hills, rich soil, and coffee trees planted by his grandparents. Today, he and his wife carry that legacy forward with their children, Maria and young Estevan, running a 1000-hectare farm that blends coffee cultivation with dairy and beef cattle.

Half the land is dedicated to coffee — varietals like Mundo Novo, Topazio and Paraíso 2 — grown at 1100m and nurtured with genuine respect for the environment.

For the family, sustainability isn’t a marketing claim; it’s daily practice. Da Lagoa uses integrated pest management, biological controls, organic-mineral fertilisers, spring protection, renewable energy, and wildlife conservation. They also hold multiple sustainability certifications, ensuring every harvest meets high environmental and social standards.
