Gura wet mill sits on the banks of the Gura River, collecting ripe coffee cherries from smallholder farmers farming the slopes of the Aberdare Mountain Range in Nyeri County, one of Kenya’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Nestled between the eastern edge of the Aberdares and the western slopes of Mount Kenya, these highlands combine cool temperatures, fertile volcanic soils and consistent rainfall — the perfect recipe for exceptional coffee.
At these elevations, SL28 and SL34 varietals thrive, producing coffees known for their vibrant acidity, floral aromatics and layered fruit character. After harvest, cherries are carefully washed and processed at the Gura wet mill, locking in clarity and brightness.
The result is a cup that’s intensely juicy yet beautifully balanced — bursting with mango, blackberry and pineapple, rounded out by red cherry sweetness and a soft brown-sugar finish.
