Rwanda - kirambo ruby

- raspberry, blackberry, creamy cocoa
Most coffee in Rwanda is grown by smallholder farmers with only tiny plots of land — meaning quality often depends on strong local washing stations bringing producers together.
Kirambo washing station, overlooking Lake Kivu in Rwanda’s Nyamasheke District, was revitalised in 2017 to provide more structure, training and consistency for the surrounding farming community.
Today, coffees from the region are known for their clarity, balance and vibrant fruit character — qualities carefully enhanced through meticulous washing and slow drying on raised African beds.
This lot is silky, layered and expressive:
bright raspberry, deeper blackberry, and a soft sweetness that reminds us a little of red velvet cake.
light roast, washed process
